You know you are friends with a homeschool mom when...
you get a request like this.
Emma is quite interested in life around the country- weather, seasons, traditions, etc. While it is true that the internet is amazingly full of beautiful pictures and every kind of information and the library has some of the best travel books, we would LOVE to have the lowdown, first-hand from YOU.
Here's the plan.
1. Find a postcard or photo of your area.
2. Tell us something fun and interesting about where you live.
3. Mail the letter.
4. We'll send you one right back with something fun and interesting about where we live.
If you don't have our address and would like join in the fun, leave me a comment and I'll get back to you!

Sadly, there isn't much swirling in my head that doesn't revolve around the price of groceries, politics, mommy culture and strangely, a literal vs. figurative flood narrative (that's still left from sunday school this morning). I'm ready for something new to think about. You got any ideas?
In the meantime, here are some pictures of my favorite people. Last week, Rick took a day off and we went to the mountains. The day was beautiful.

Fall is in the air
Do you feel it?
Ethan and his cousin Lyndsey playing in the first pile of leaves.
Do you find comfort in the rhythm of the seasons, knowing that God keeps it all in place?
You fill the earth with the fruit of your labor...
You made the moon to mark the seasons...
Let all that I am praise the Lord...
thoughts from psalm 104
