In the afternoon, we have quiet time around here. That's when Emma explores computer sites like Starfall, Funbrain and National Geographic for kids. Sometimes she learns something interesting, other times it's all about the games. Recently, we came across a new one - virtual knee surgery. (She's got this thing about the body.) I helped her along with some of the reading, until she started cutting with the scalpel and (and I'm not kidding here) I actually had to walk away because I got queasy and light-headed. Later she tried to get me to come back for the real-life surgery pictures. Yea, right.
