I am a friend of God

Betsy-Tacy, Emma's February book club read, opens with this telling first line.

"It was difficult, later, to think of a time when Betsy and Tacy had not been friends. Hill Street came to regard them almost as one person."

Oh, to know so fully and be known so deeply.

Abraham believed God, and he was called God's friend. (Jason 2:23)

I am a friend of God because he calls me friend.
