This is an adventure
Who get's to live like this
We get to see so many great friends
You'll get to check another state off your list
Who am I trying to convince?
We leave our temporary home tomorrow for
an even more temporary home and
then a trip in the middle for another month-long adventure.
Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado
Its like a travel sandwich.
If I wasn't writing this to procrastinate the packing, I
might try waxing eloquently about earth and heaven
and this life and what we were made for and so on and so forth...

May your days of travel bee filled with'grace spotting' of eagles soaring and rainbowed sunsets over endless feilds, and glorious snow covered peaks. May God grant you less traffic and more time fellowshipping. the journey is sometimes longer than we like but it sounds like you have some destinations filled with friends and purpose. Take care.
This post resonates with me, Paula. We're not currently nomads, of course, but we've been talking up our "big adventure to New York" a lot here lately. This will be the first move (of many, probably) that Kathleen will remember, and it's the first move where she will be asked to leave people she loves. We're always pointing out the good parts about the move to New York (her friends Anna and Sammie -- never mind that she's only met them a handful of times), exciting new weather (we'll see how long that's exciting!), watching cadet parades... I wonder sometimes who I'm trying to convince! (But it's probably good for that person, too!)
Be Encouraged. Satan would like for you to feel disappointed and defeated. But we are walking alife close to Christ. As Abigail often tells people "We're Homeless" and now we smile with Pride, for our Savior was homeless! This is just a small time on large scale. The Adventures will be great, the packing a struggle, the re-packing exhausting, the family bonding a pure delight, and in the end we will have walked by faith to show others of God's amazing love along our journey. Stay Encouraged. You are prayed for and loved.
